Android

You can restore contacts from a Google account using the device's Settings app:

Open Settings

Tap Google

Tap Set up & restore

Tap From account to select the Google account to restore

Tap the phone with the contacts to copy

Turn on or off SIM card or Device storage to choose which sources to copy

Tap Restore and wait for the message "Contacts restored"

iPhone

You can restore contacts from an earlier version using iCloud.com:

Go to icloud.com on a browser and sign in to your iCloud account

Scroll to the bottom and tap Data Recovery

Scroll down and tap Restore Contacts

To the right of the version to restore, click Restore

Wait for iCloud to finish restoring before making changes
