Not receiving new email messages

This afternoon I have stopped receiving emails with the NEW Outlook.  I have a Sbcglobal.net email.  I have a desktop version of Outlook (Office 2010) and I receive emails fine with the same computer.  I can SEND emails fine with the New Outlook, just don't receive emails. .  I also have a Gmail account with the New Outlook and it works fine.  With my iPhone I can send and receive emails(SBC) fine BUT prior to all this I could only get 20 or 30 emails at a time.  The old ones would be deleted.  I don't know if the phone deleted the emails or Outlook deleted the emails BUT I have all settings set to not deleted emails.  I spent many hours trying to figure this out but in the end just gave up.  I don't know if this is related.  I have another SBC email account and that works fine with another computer.

I got out another Windows computer and setup the email with the New Outlook and it did the same thing.  I don't receive any new emails just the old ones that were with the original computer.

Resetting the password didn't fix it and it wasn't something I wanted to do being I had 5 devices that I had to change the password for after resetting.

I am aware of being able to access my email account on the web.  Like I thought I made clear, the goal was to get the New Outlook able to receive my email being I had to problems getting my email with Outlook (Office) and my iPhone.  Again repeating, I was able to send emails with the New Outlook.

I am still considering the last option you mentioned.  I was wondering if I mentioned that CONCERN is ONLY with the NEW OUTLOOK all EFFORTS would be concentrated on only my concern instead of straying me away elsewhere?

Hello @atmwada,

We understand your concern and let's assist you with your email issue.

We request you to check if you may have created email filters.

    • Example: There may be a filter with simply a period or comma. You may not see it, but any email with a comma or period falls into the filter rules. Thoroughly check all filters.

Please feel free to reach out to us for further assistance.

Thank you,
Mike, AT&T Community Specialist.
