spam

I receive approximately 20 emails every day from Fidelity Life. I have flagged them as spam. Some go directly to spam folder, some go to my in file. How can I stop them entirely from both folders?

Hi @skibum48,

Thank you for reaching out to us. We hear you, and we're happy to guide you.

To stop receiving unwanted emails from Fidelity Life. You can try the following steps to stop receiving emails from them:

  1. Unsubscribe: Check the bottom of the email for an “unsubscribe” link. Clicking on this link should take you to a page where you can unsubscribe from future emails.
  2. Mark as spam: If you’re still receiving emails from Fidelity Life, mark them as spam. This will help your email provider recognize these emails as spam and send them directly to the spam folder.
  3. Contact Fidelity Life: If you’re still receiving emails from Fidelity Life after unsubscribing and marking them as spam, you can contact them directly to request that they stop sending you emails. You can reach out to them via email at phishing@fidelity .com.
  4. Also, you can email us at abuse@att .net sending the complete email information to block the domain.

Looking forward to hearing back from you if you need further assistance!

I am also getting those, and the emails are not actually from Fidelity Life, they're from all kinds of random email addresses. They're obviously spam/scam emails which of course AT&T/Yahoo has been doing nothing about for the past few years.

Ah yes, the standard useless forward to abuse@att.net suggestion, where you get a canned worthless response that they won't do anything because it's spam email originating from somewhere else. OBVIOUS spam that shouldn't appear in my inbox.

AT&T ABUSE REPORTING
Please note that we can only take action on reports that implicate
the AT&T network as a source of abuse.  As we are unable to take
any action on reports not involving AT&T's network, we recommend
that you send those reports directly to the abuse address of the
originating domain or service provider.  You can identify the
originator by reading the expanded e-mail headers.  If you need
help with reading headers, visit the following:
For any abuse report involving e-mail, it is essential that the
report include the full original expanded headers containing the
source IP address and time stamp, along with the complete unedited
subject line and message.  A report cannot be investigated without
this information.  Please send one report at a time, as combining
multiple reports only detracts from our ability to address abuse
issues.
For abuse reports involving security incidents, please include
relevant log excerpts of the incident directly in the body of your
message.  Logs must be in plain text or ASCII format and include
the time zone, source IP address, destination IP, timestamps, and
port numbers.

AT&T TARGETED SCAMS/PHISHING
