Unlink email accounts

I have a subaccount that is now linked to my main email account and email from both are coming into my main account.  How can I unlink them to be 2 separate email accounts?

Hi @ sadbarrett, we understand your concern. We'd be happy to help you with unlinking your email accounts.

 

We recommend following the below steps to remove a linked account from your user ID:

  1. Go to your myAT&T Profile. Sign in, if asked.
  2. Scroll to My Linked accounts.
  3. Choose Remove this account for the account you want to unlink. If you try to remove a canceled account with a balance due, we’ll ask you to make a payment.
  4. Select one of these, if asked:
  • A secondary user to replace you as the primary user
  • No one
  1. Choose a new primary contact account, if asked.
  2. Follow the directions to remove the account from your ID.

The "Remove this account" option is not an option under "My Linked accounts".  The only options shown are:

*Manage email

*Manage secure mail key

*AT&T email help

Can you please assist with what to do now?

I have gone to the Contact Us page and nowhere on it can I find the option to select the preference of how to reach out for account level help.  I'd like to chat for assistance.  Can you send me a link for the "chat" option for suppport?

ATT web page is worthless to find help on anything, links don't work and the chat bot knows nothing, if it ever comes up.
