First, thank you for opening your own topic on the issue: Are you sure you have it set up correctly, if it's your answering machine asking for the code you're getting to the remote access, either by the number of rings or pushing a button to access the remote feature. Here's the manual setting up the answering system starts on page 102, set date and time is on page 33, which is required. Remote access code can be found on page 108, which you can change. Remote access starts on page 119, read page 120 for what will make it go to remote access.
