Blocking "unverified" phone numbers.
I have had AT&T Call Protect enabled on my home digital phone for some time. I have also enabled (*77) Anonymous Call Protection which is "supposed" to block calls with "Anonymous" Caller ID's.
My Call History shows that only 4 of my last 100 calls received in the last 2 weeks were legitimate and those were all identified by AT&T Call Protect as with the [V] prior to their Caller ID.
1. Is there any way to block all but those [V] verified calls using AT&T Call Protect or other AT&T services, or using any 3rd party device or service?
I am already using NoMoRobo, but callers are spoofing the originating phone numbers rendering it not as effective as it used to be.
2. Is there any way to block "Unavailable" Caller ID's which are supposed to indicate the call was originated from a phone system that does not support Caller ID? *77 Anonymous Call Rejection ONLY works on calls which have have been chosen to be Anonymous i.e. *67 (Call Hiding)
I don't see how AT&T can allow calls physically originating on their own network that show Caller ID Unavailable.

Private calls, which can show up as anonymous are calls the a person chooses to block their out going caller ID, so don't answer them. Unavailable calls mean that no data was sent, so again don't answer them. A phone or third party device with a good call blocker can block these calls. Just read up on what they can do and how they do it so you get what you're looking for.
