CallProtect is sunsetting. Can ActiveArmor be installed on my VoIP gateway router?

I have Call Protect combined with NoMoRob but I still  get 30 spams a day.

I want to switch to ActiveArmor.  My home handsets connect to wall jacks. Nonetheless, I have VoIP Digital Phone Service because the jacks lead to an ATT gateway router which was installed with my Direct TV  bundle. (it has TV streaming/internet/home phone).  There is no smart phone associated with the current system. How can I install ActiveArmor directly to the gateway?

According to this article active armor is for wireless service and call protect is still used for digital phone service. I know in your other post you said you were going to Ooma, you could probably google them to see what's available as far as spam and blocking protection goes, I think nomorobo still works with Ooma. You could use a third party blocking device between your modem and your phone jacks, good ones can do way more than any phone company spam/blocking service. Ooma known spam call blocking

Since I can't install it on the Gateway, I installed active armor on my IPhone, This allowed me to protect my Wi_Fi and esablish a VPNthe .

Some call management features are visible, but can't be opened they are "only available on AT&T Network".  In typical fashion, that message is misleading.  It should say features are "only available for AT&T mobile devices using an AT&T Network".

Nonetheless, m6 8 POTS phones could still use ctiveArmor by porting my home number to an ATT cell phone service. and useing a generic network interface similar to Ooma Linx.

But first I need to know more about ActiveArmor.

1) Does ActiveArmor support a white list of numbers that should never be screened.  The ATT website only claims it  will "manage and block unknown callers" but does not specifically say it uses a white list.

2) Doe AcitveArmor support an interactive call screening feature.  For instance when I get a call from someone who is not on the whiltelist, they should get a screening challenge like "Please enter the number 431 to finish connecting your call.

My guess is the answer is no, but I can't find and clear documentation.

Free fir your Att cell phone.   By the way, I no longer use Att phone service. I switched to ooma home phone and saved $200 a year. Plus the 30 spams a day are completely gone.
