Day Wrong on answering machine

See the manual for the CL82201 phone system your probably didn't set the year when you installed it.  This is from page 12 of the manual.

 The year must be set so that the 
day of the week can be calculated from the caller ID information.

Date is correct on the phone. Answering machine thinks it is a different day of the week.

Did you set the year on the base unit as given from the manual?  You say the date is correct on the handsets is the year displayed on the handsets and if so is it correct?  If it's announcing the correct date, but not day of the week your year is set wrong.  I think that's what you're saying. 

Tried all per manual. Still comes in as Thursday. I give up. Not worth the trouble. Thanks for your help.

If you didn't hear a confirmation tone you didn't change it, you need to do every step.

Yes in my answering machine its also showing wrong year I am confused about its results please help me to solve this issue.
