Does anyone know how to access/retrieve call history on a LANDLINE HOME phone?

I've contacted this company 7 times so far without ANY results and this is utterly RIDICULOUS!!! I need to get a full copy of the call history for a certain period of time for my landline home phone. You'd think this would be a no-brainer, but Nooo, I've wasted 6 hours of my time in vain so far! No-one I talked to including the supervisors, seems to know what they're talking about! One is telling me to contact the legal department at AT&T, while providing an e-mail address that's been long de-activated and others send instructions pertaining to ANY device, BUT the landline home phone!  If anyone knows what the answer is, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks.

Hi @commem

We're happy to help! Here are the steps you need to take to obtain call logs for U-Verse phone:

  • Sign in to your account
  • Find the sections labeled U-Verse Home Phone Service
  • Click Manage Home Phone Features
  • Click Call Logs

If your home phone service is not through U-Verse, please let us know and we'll go from there.

It is NOT a U-Verse or digital phone; it is a landline! This is clearly stated in my question and has been communicated to AT&T support at least 8 times now! It's a simple landline home phone and the steps you provided, won't work for that device on your website!

Just to clarify the "Landline" statement.  The term is used by both those who post questions on U-verse phone service and traditional landline service.  So when using the term it would be helpful to put something like, this is traditional landline, or this is a POTS line, or simply this is not U-verse.

I agree with the statement. The term "landline" does get misused a lot! This is a TRADITIONAL LANDLINE service for a home phone, not a U-verse or POTS line.

@katiepie79 The answer, if there was one, was given via PM so others with this problem will have to do their own digging.

i merely need a printout of the caller ID's and numbers that are on record already..

why does ATT make this so difficult?
