Has Digital Phone Call Protect be discontinued?

I know Call Protect for cell phones has been turned into a revenue stream called Active Armor. I'm interested in Digital Phone Call Protect for VOIP over fiber. All my documentation says it is available (and free) as do the ATT web pages and myatt app. However, all the documentation that tells how to activate it leads to nothing that actually exists on the web pages or myatt app. So it seems to be complete vapor(ized) ware. Tech support tells me DPCP has been cancelled, but should I really believe them or did they just confuse Call Protect for mobile phones with DPCP? So, again, is Digital Phone Call Protect really cancelled?

If so, how does ATT get away so easily with fraudulent advertising? And is my only recourse to cancel my Digital Phone?

Best I can find I can't find anything that says it's been discontinued. I don't have AT&T digital phone service. There are those who do, might want to wait for one of them.

As one who has had VOIP for many, many years, I have to admit that I was unaware of DCP for VOIP (I’m old….be nice).

If THIS INFO is not correct or invalid, it sounds like it is no longer available.  🤷‍♀️

ETA: @ATTHelp perhaps you can bring this to the attention of TPTB.

I guess "Service not guaranteed" applies - technically no fraud involved. Thanks. I'm giving up and will try voiply or equivalent. I can remember my childhood phone number from 60 yr ago and the password I created yesterday!

Why not get a phone with a good call blocker? There better than any of the carriers blocking services.

I don't see how an individual phone could realistically do much more than block "unknown" numbers and a few numbers that telemarketers neglected to recently change. A phone company however could get bad numbers from other users before you ever get called from them. Seems like that would be the same experience, if not better. It's all a mystery to me. I do know my cell phone never gets telemarketing calls, only my landline. Whether that is because the cell company blocks the calls, telemarketers don't call cell numbers, or just luck, I don't know. But I'm thinking it's likely the company doing the blocking.

I would say look up phones with call blocking and read what they can do.

Uhhhh….I get “Spam Risk” and “Unknown Caller” on my cell phone all the time.  Am I missing something?
