How to set number of rings before call is transferred to voicemail
We have VOIP phone service. The phone only rings 3 times before it goes to voicemail. We are not always fast enough to catch it. How can we change the number of rings?

Is the message going to ATT Phone (Uverse VoIP) voicemail, or your own machines voice mail?
By default ATT voice mail is 4 rings with max setting of 6 or can disable the voice mail.
As state picks up at 3, I suspect this might be your own equipment voicemail and was set that way to pickup / record before ATT VM picks up. If this is the case, recommend accessing your account and set ATT to 6 rings or disable then change the setting on your own device for the number of rings desired before recording.

my thoughts, Thank you for your response.
It is going to ATT voicemail not to our phone equipment. I also have a number blocker gadget on the line. Is it possible that it is counting rings we do not hear?
I tried logging into my account but could not find where the number of rings is controlled.
