Landline voicemail
How do I turn off the voicemail on an at&t landline phone ? I can not use the app because it wants to send a text with a code to a landline. Customer service is a joke and told me to get rid of Verizon wireless. Get an at&t cell phone and get the app.
anyway, can anyone help wall me through the process

Landline as in traditional landline? Digital service? Traditional you have to call to get it turned off, digital you can turn it on and off in the phone features of your MyATT account.

I would agree with you. I should be able to call and get it done. Every time I called they tell me it can’t be done.

Also, i try and put the app on my cell. They try and send a code to verify the account. They refuse to send the code to anything but the assigned number. Which is a landline and obviously can not get texts. Then i call and ask them to send a code to my cell. They tell me they can not because it is a verizon cell. Their option was to try and sell me a cell plan and a new phone. No one can seem to help me perform such a simple task.
