@Alamsher LLC Did you try the AT&T unlock portal and if so, what message did you get?
Do you have an AT&T account?
If the phone has been blacklisted then there's nothing you, or AT&T can do because you won't be able to use it on any network. What you have is an expensive iPod. Get your money back.

I got this message (You can’t unlock your device until your installment plan is paid off. If you pay off your device as part of your monthly bill, wait until the start of your next bill period to unlock it.
Want to pay off your device early? Make sure your number has been active on the device for at least 60 days. Then, sign into your account to review and pay off your installment plan. Wait 48 hours after you make your final payment to submit a new unlock request.)
please help me to remove the restriction

@Alamsher LLC Ok, you were sold a phone with a balance due. A very common scam. AT&T won't tell you how much is owed nor will they allow you pay off another person's balance. Nothing can be done other than get your money back if you can. Sorry you got scammed.

@Alamsher LLC You don't get it. Until the balance is paid off by the ORIGINAL OWNER it can't be unlocked. If you can get a hold of the original owner (the person who sold you the phone) and have them pay off what is owed then it will become eligible for unlocking. If not, you have a iPod. Just chalk it up to an expensive learning lesson.

Do not wait, return the phone and get your money back… then buy a phone from the provider you desire service with… not a used phone.
If the phone is never paid off or reported as lost/ stolen, will never be able to unlock.
Again, do not wait… return to whatever business or person sold the phone to you.

@Alamsher LLC If he sold you the phone he probably has no intention at all of paying it off, because he will probably take the money that you paid him and purchase a new phone with the money. Don't purchase a used phone as mentioned. I prefer to purchase our iPhones directly, unlocked, from Apple.
