Phones Ring Back and Drop Calls

Does anyone use a cordless home phone anymore?  My digital switch (5 years) has caused me dropped calls, dead line, call waiting failure, and ring back when I hang up.  Very annoyng (three sets, 2 ATT $180).  Can you fix ringback; why does it happen?  It shows my number calling.  I already spent a long time with tech support on this.

Hi DoneSkiing,

I'm sorry you are having issues with your phones ringing with nobody on the line after you hang up. It is possible the phone is flashing instead of hanging up. This would cause your line to remain active as if you opened up another line. This could also be caused by some defective inside wiring on your telephone circuit. I recommend holding the button to hang up the phone a bit longer and ensure calls are ended by looking at the display timer if available on your set. I can help you troubleshoot this, please send me your account information to ATTU-verseCare to assist you further.

I’m having the same issue, if I’m on the phone and someone picks up the extension the phone hangs up, and after I hang up it calls me back?

When you make your own topic tell us the make and model of phone and what type service you're using it on, digital of traditional landline, your current post doesn't have enough information.
