U-verse Voice during power outage
Hi. I will be switching to U-verse Voice and Internet next week. If there is a power outage, will we still be able to make calls using a corded phone plugged into our phone jack? Also, my boyfriend, who lives with me, has his own AT&T landline with his own phone number. He isn't switching to U-verse. So, once I switch my own phone line to U-verse voice, will he still be able to use his landline as usual?

When you get a bundle with voice included it will come with a UPS. Should give you phone line support for a short while if the power goes out.
