Way to recover landline deletions?

Accidentally deleted, just now!, all old messages on an ATT landline cordless Model #SL82418? Can they be recovered?

I've deleted my wifes dead grandmopther, I'm in big trouble...

Thanks anyone! Chris

If you use the answering system on the phone itself, deleted message are not recoverable.

If you have DIGITAL phone service and use voicemail, it may still be there.

I believe that the messages are stored on the phone itself.

If that's the case, can they be recovered? Could i take this up with a PC guy?

We understand how frustrating it can be when you accidentally delete your voicemail messages, @richards444, and we are here to assist.

As long as you don't end the call, you can recover and save deleted voicemail messages. Once you end the call or exit the voicemail system, deleted messages are gone forever.

If, by any chance you have not ended the call, follow these steps to recover voicemail messages.

  1. Don’t hang up!
  2. From the Message Playback menu, press 1.
  3. Press 9 to Check Erased Messages.
  4. Press 9 to Save a message to your voicemail box.
  5. Press 7 to delete it again.

If you need additional assistance, don't hesitate to let us know.

I'm reading this that you deleted the messages on your phone systems answering machine, if so, no you can't retrieve them.
