Why can?t I block suspected spam calls?
I get at least 10 calls everyday, all suspected spam with different numbers.

Because you block by the number. You could get a phone with a good call blocker.

Please tell me what kind of phone that would be? I have a panasonic that will block 250 numbers and it is full. I need one that will block the name "Suspected Spam" and not just the number. I can't block all the numbers associated with that name, I would fill it up in a week.

You'll have to do some research as there are differences and you just have to find one that's does what you need. The one I have has call screening, where the caller hears a recording telling them to push (a certain number/character) to be connected, if they don't they get disconnected. I've yet to have any "suspected spam" calls get through as they are either robo and can't do it or they are people who don't bother with the extra steps.

@sassync I just don't answer a call that I don't recognize. If it's important, they'll leave a voicemail. It's almost impossible to block spam calls because the numbers are often spoofed so they change all of the time because they are computer-generated. I get very few on my iPhone.

@OttoPylot I hear what you are saying and I used to do that. Now the phone doesn't even ring on those unwanted calls, the peace and quiet is better.

@spoom2 That would be nice not having a ring. I just get around that by canceling the call on my AppleWatch.

I'm talking landline so that wouldn't work, so's the OP from the looks of it.

Actually, I have AT&T Uverse, which gives me call blocking up to 100 numbers which I have already used up plus the 250 that my phone blocks. Now what do I do? It's gets aggrevating hearing the phone ring at least 10 times per day with Suspected Spam showing on caller ID. I just don't answer it, but I get tired of the ringing.
