Damaged green junction box

A vehicle ran down the junction box that is located next to the street. Who do I contact regarding this incident?

Since it's the weekend I should have posted the hours. These are the hours posted by @Constructive in another topic:

Call the Buried Wire Center at 800.924.9420. You can call them Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. ET

On Sept 30, 2023, some vandals damaged an AT&T green junction box in Imperial Beach, CA.

We took pictures of the box and the exposed wires.

The box is located on the sidewalk at 335 Imperial Beach Avenue, Imperial Beach, CA 91932.

See the 3 pictures below, you can see also the apartment number 335 on the apartment door close to the damaged box.

Imperial Beach Gardens apartment complex.

Please notify the appropriate department, I cannot reach anybody on the phone to report this.

The phone number to report the damage is completely useless. 800.288. 2020, can never speak to a real person. 😝🤬

In this situation, you should contact your local city or municipal authorities or the relevant transportation department responsible for maintaining traffic infrastructure. They will be able to assess the damage and take appropriate actions to repair or replace the damaged green junction box.

@julienester,

This has nothing to do with the local city, the box is property of AT&T, it even has a sign on it with the AT&T number to contact.

ohh then it could be only resolved by AT&T staff
