Easement at rear of house lot

Hello, Our house and all houses in are neighbourhood have an easement to Southern California Telephone company from 1947, which I believe is now owned by AT&T. I want to install the overhead lines feeding the house, underground, as I will be building a new house. Who can I contact to initiate the process and get some guidance.

Property; XXXXX Camino Capistarno, Dana Point 92624 California

its not that simple, to just bury a line, theres permits, planning, engineerig etc they wont just do 1 house it would be part of an undergrounding project in agreement with your minicipality and at&t which takes many years and millions of dollars, vaults would need to be placed trenches etc

Thank you. The line in question is just the OH wire coming to my house, which I will trench for and install the conduit from the pole to the telephone box, all on mine property. I am not talking about undergrounding the main poles and main lines servicing all houses.

I have called multiple ATT 800 numbers but have not yet gotten to the right department.

Thanks for the response.

Hi BChawla,

Did you ever get an answer on this question?  I also have an easement by the SCTC from 1943 and need assistance clearing the easement.  Any information you can give will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.
