Land line will not hang up after disconnect

I was on a call with my mother and hung up but when I try to call her back her line is not disconnected and I can’t get through. Is there a way to disconnect remotely?

No and she may have a phone off the hook, or a bad line.

Hi there, @Mrpjpajamas. We understand that you were on the phone with your mother and you tried to contat her back, but the call did not go through. We can look at that together.

Our expert, @Spoom is correct. Normally, when a call will not go through, that means that a landlane phone is either off the hook, or does not have call waiting active, it rings busy.

With that being said, we do agree with our expert. There is no way for the line to be disconnected remotely.

If there is a concern with your mothers landline service, she or you can call our landline repair center at 1-800-288-2020 option 1.

If there is anything else that we can do for you, please reach back out to us again.
