No functioning phone jacks after upgraded to fiber

Your phone now works out of the phone jack on the back of the modem. So, if you have a cordless phone system you'd plug the base in there. If you need your jack to work you need to feed the jacks out of the back of the modem, if there's a close by jack just plug a phone cord from the back of the modem to the jack, that should make all jacks that were working work again. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT: prior to connecting the modem to the existing phone wiring go to the NID and disconnect the incoming line from the phone company, simply open the connection and tape over the pins.
