Email to SMS has stopped working. How can I fix it?

For several days my Microsoft Exchange server account has failed to send SMS messages for calendar events. I then attempted to send an email to my phone, and I got an error that reads as follows. Suggestions?

<recipientphone#>@txt.att.net

mx3b.txt.att.net
Remote Server returned '554 5.2.0 <mx3b.txt.att.net #5.2.0 smtp; 550 5.2.0 <sendingemail> - oZmamIsvCrl4HoZmamkxm0 - Internal error>'

Hi dutch645! Let's address your Email-To-Text Messages inquiry!

For text messages, compose a new email and enter your 10-digit wireless number, followed by @txt.att.net. For picture or video messages, compose a new email and enter your 10-digit wireless number, followed by @mms.att.net.

We also recommend our Troubleshoot And Resolve Tool to help fix your email-to-text message concern, go to Fix my Wireless and Sign in to start

We hope this helps! Reach back out to us if you have additional questions. Thank you for reaching out to the AT&T Community!

Thank you. My issue is that the Exchange server at Rackspace where my email is hosted sends SMS messages to my AT&T account for calendar events. It used to work fine but recently started failing. I removed the post here because i confirmed I can manually send an SMS  from my other email accounts but it fails from the  exchange account the same way the automated calender reminder SMS fails.

I plan to contact Rackspace.

I am having the same issue.  Just recently started.  Here is the error message that the ATT mailer is returning.  This is from a real computer on my network and not from a rackspace server:

data: 550 5.2.0 <[email scrubbed]> - tw24mbsu4xbmftw24mwkpL - Internal error

Never mind resolver complaint!  I did finally get dig to bring up the MX records.  Here is what my full session looks like:

ATTHelp, looks like the e-mail gateways for SMS/MMS from SMTP has an internal issue.  See if you can find someone with the word "technical" in his job title and ask him about these messages.

Thank you - appreciate your looking into this.  I did find a work around.  I will tell you that my email provider (godaddy) recently moved my email domain and accounts to Exchange and that's about when the issue starting showing up.  The work around uses a "mail from:" address that is not on an Exchange server and IS on ATT's servers.  Now I am getting the texts again!  Just not being noted from my real e-mail address.

The SMTP server may have just been fixed, or you were routed to another server.  A response from the mail server of "internal error" is inappropriate for SPAM or RBL handling.

SMTP server not fixed.  Just took out my work around, got same server as works with the work around in, and once more received the "internal error"
