No.  There is no way to automatically forward text messages between devices and phone numbers. 

If you use Google messages, you can pair the phones and access messages from one phone in the web browser on the other phone. 

However they don't stay paired. Which means that you would have to regularly repair the phones in order to access your messages

IIRC, there are applications that you can install that will read the messages on one line and post them to another.  The work phone would have to remain powered on to do the forwarding.
