Is it weird to be using my mobile data for my home computer 24/7

I have some pretty bad home internet, and whenever it didn't work I would just connect my computer to my phone through a hotspot. Eventually it got so bad that I just started using it 24/7 as my normal internet. I would get messages from AT&T saying that it was limiting my data power, but it didn't seem to make a difference. I am also downloading things on my computer using my phone data. Is there any reason to stop doing this?

Depends on your plan.  Some plans have limits on how much hotspot data you can use per billing cycle, and can charge extra for going over, or throttle your data.
