Limit on groups

I am part of a community organization and have 13 board members. I am the only one that has a problem with the group chats. Is there any way to bypass this limit? It creates a bunch of different groups forcing me to bounce between the different groups in order to keep up with what's being said. I will not ask everyone else on the board to download an app just so I can have one group chat thread. It is crazy to me that there is such a small limit on group chats especially since people are a part of organizations and texting is the best method for immediate updates. I think enough people have this problem for AT&T to update the size of group chat limits. Please someone help AT&T just released an update on my Samsung Galaxy Note 5 giving me Android 7.0.
