Poor Moble Data in an Area
I work in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, on the east end of the Turnpike, toward Clinton, TN. The cellular data service will vary from good to nonexistent during most of the day, making my smartphone unusable. Calls and texts usually work fine with no interruption. If I travel outside of the range of that particular cell the service becomes excellent. This seems to have started about the same time as the national AT&T issue several weeks ago.
Is it possible that this cell is over subcrribed?

Possible, yes… as it is mobile service meaning customers move about and can be connecting to different towers at different times of day.
Example is a more rural with normally excellent coverage for regular users but during weekends and holidays when out of town come into area looking to use their devices can overload the tower resulting in poor performance for all.
