Problems with new att mail after 4.4.4 installation on Samsung Galaxy s4

I have the following questions/issues with Att mail that was installed on my galaxy s4 in the 4.4.4. upgrade:

1. How do I get rid of the sponsored ad at the top of the email?

2. How do I "mark as read" or sort email as I have been able to do before?

3. How do I forward an email to a folder?

4. My old email on the galaxy now mal functions. I have tried taking the battery out and this doesn't help. What do I do?

5. Why isn't there anywhere to go for help on these issues or any kind of "help"?
