I can see my text messages on line but I can't read them. How can I read my text messages using my laptop?

To read text messages on your laptop, you can use either of the following methods:

Hold your phone to your laptop or desktop PC to scan the QR code on the display. Your phone and computer both reload. Close Your web browser displays your inbox with a list of conversations on the left.
Open the browser on your laptop and go to https://messages.google.com/web/. Open the Messages app on your phone and click on QR Code Scanner. Point your phone’s camera at the QR code shown on Google Messages website. You can tap on conversations to view them and reply the same way as you’d do on your phone.
