Att gift card
There was some statement credit and ATT sends me a prepaid debit/mastercard - which I am unable to use anywhere. what is the point in sending such a card? I sent them a check for account payment - why can they not mail me a check for the refund?

What are you trying to use it for?
The purchase amount cannot exceed the value on the card….
thus need to perform a split payment paying a portion with another payment type then the balance with the gift card.
Personally I always used them to purchase gas at a station, if card has $20 then the pump pre authorized $20 purchase and stops from going over the amount on the card… if have $100 just do the same, might get 2 or three fill ups depending on vehicle and purchase amount for each transaction.
