ATT withdrawing from eligible telecommunications carrier designation

Does this mean that ATT will no longer be participating in Lifeline?  What alternative will customers with low income have?

Lifeline is another federally subsidized program separate from ACP. Even if, or when, ACP is discontinued, you should still be able to sign up for Lifeline, which is the comparatively ineffective and outdated program. There have been no alternatives proposed for either program. Write your Congressman. AT&T and other carriers are not withdrawing from ACP. The money has dried up without further funding.
