Landline local toll call listing prefixes in Illinois?
Apparently, I have a 10-15 mile radius (depending on who you talk to,) for local calls from a wired landline. However, it doesn't go by area code, and it also doesn't go by actual area, but by the prefix. I need to know what will be a local toll call before I call it. How do I know that? The page it's supposed to be on has a misconfigured IP address, so it won't display. I need to know this information beforehand.

Three posts on the same issue isn't necessary. this is the link in the old topic you posted in, it works for me so not sure what to tell you. Here's another link specific to Illinois and Another all found with google searches.

I found this which isn't specifically what your looking for. This is the best online tool I can find. The link I posted before that has another link for local calling area, well that is an AT&T link and of course it doesn't work.

Thank you for trying to help, but that is not what I'm looking for. The actual distance doesn't help, because prefixes here don't always match the mileage. But thank you, anyway. AT&T just likes billing customers high rates.
