Hi SuperDukeGT, we'd be glad to help with your inquiry about obtaining a Number Transfer PIN.
As sandblaster stated, when porting landline numbers, you just need your account number (the phone number and 3-digit serial number that can be found on your bill) and 4-digit account PIN. There is no Number Transfer PIN for landline numbers.
Let us know if you have any other questions.

The same way you would port any number. Check with the cellular provider to make sure the number is eligible to be ported (not all landline numbers are), then provide them the information they need to port, typically your landline account number and account pin.

Someone from AT&T: please confirm. According to AT&T Support articles, for wireless numbers, the customer needs to request a Number Transfer PIN, and this is provided to the new carrier. The article states "do not use or provide your account passcode."
However the article mentioned above applies to wireless numbers only. How do I get a Number Transfer PIN for a landline phone number? Thank you.

Let's say one wants to port an AT&T landline number to a wireless carrier that's NOT AT&T. How would one do that?
