AT&T is blocking all texts from my business number

I am commercial tire distributor and my job is to cold call new customers and work with existing customers, all text messages from my office number are being blocked by the carrier. It's only AT&T. Customers I've worked with for years I can no longer text back to them because my number has been flagged in your systems.

How do I go about fixing this? It's directly impacting my ability to do my job.

Well your employer needs to quit cold calling and texting.  Existing customers are good.  Your number got reported to many times as spam.

I see. Maybe I'm in the wrong place. It was my understanding I would get some practical answers from some one in AT&T to address this issue apposed to a snarky response of someone not associated with the company.

To be honest, the only answer you’ll get from AT&T is them telling you to contact them directly.

When I receive an unsolicited text it gets deleted and the opportunity to report it as SPAM. Looks like AT&T SPAM text reporting works with your number.

Actually, who you want to talk to is Hiya ( https://hiya.com ).  AT&T uses Hiya to determine reputation for incoming calling numbers.  Apparently Hiya has decided yours is not reputable (perhaps because of too many cold calls).  Anyway, check with them about improving your reputation with them.

The problem I am looking at is we do not use AT&T. With out an account I get the runaround trying to speak with a real person within the organization to find out how to register our number as legitimate business.

I work with small trucking companies, and a lot of the time they are owner-operators and are out grinding like everyone else and cannot always take calls when behind the wheel. So the ability to text them so they can respond when they pull over for fuel or their 10 hour mandatory DOT off-time is vital.

I have the same problem.  We do not cold call anyone -we just reach out to existing clients or clients that reached out to us first.  AT&T is the only carrier blocking out texts.  We are a small local window cleaning company.

@robinangemi   You, also, should scroll back to see my reply (about Hiya).
