AT&T phone deals

hello, I found deal about iphone 13 and pixel 7 and I'm foreigner and didn't really understand it. it says 1.99$/month for 36 month on iphone 13 does it mean it costs 72$? or what's the catch? and it says 2.99$/month on pixel for 36 month and does it mean if costs 108$?

Yes after you complete 36 months (3 years) of service on a NEW line (phone number) or upgrade to an unlimited plan (minimum $60 per month).

Your are charged the full price of the phone over 36 loan with 0% interest.

Each month of service receive a credit equaling 1/36 of purchase price.

If cancel service before completing 36 months you lose all remains credits and the balance on the phone becomes due.
