Forgot WiFi Password

My Kindle wants a password for my personal WiFi network.  Usually, I automatically connect on my computer, iPad and iPhone so need to know my password to set up my Kindle.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Sometimes the default wireless password/passphrase is printed on a sticker on the router itself.

If its not and/or you or someone changed the default to a unique password/passphrase log onto the router and the password/passphrase is sometimes displayed in plain text in the wireless configuration section. Check with the manufacturers support site on how to do that or contact the person you set the router up for you.

If you have a Windows 10/8.1/8/7 computer or laptop you can also go into the wireless adapter settings and see the password/passphrase in plain text. See the first screen shot.

Lastly you can also use netsh commands from the command line to see the wireless password/passphrase on a Windows computer or laptop. Here is an example.

netsh show profile name=YourWirelessNetworkName key=clear

Here is a screen shot from my Windows 10 laptop.
