How to unlock Nokia 6102i AT&T phone?

I just bought a brand new Nokia 6102i off eBay and it is, unfortunately, SIM locked to AT&T. Is there ANY ANY way to unlock this device? It is a vintage beauty and I really could use your help. Also, I don't have any SIM with me that I received with the mobile phone.

Hello @shayd12, allow us to lend a helping hand. We recommend confirming that your device is eligible to be unlocked by reading our eligibility requirements. If you meet all of the requirements then you can submit an unlock request by visiting our Unlock portal. Thanks for reaching out to us.

@shayd12

Just a heads up.  Att has purged all its 2g phones and will not have an unlock code for you.

Even if they did, This phone has 2g 850,1800,1900 only.

Which means it will only work in the USA, on T-mobile, as they still have a 2g network for another 13 months.

Thanks for responding @lizdance40! Appreciate the help. I contacted ATT and they said that they have put in a request for unlocking the device. I hope that goes through. Thanks for the heads-up, but I am not going to make calls using this device. Would the device work, as in, could I still access the menu after I put in a SIM card? Do you know anything about that?

Thanks again for your time. I really appreciate the help.

Any function will only be if the battery works.  It will not have any function at all with AT&T as a cell phone.   It won’t even have emergency calls as there is no network support for a 2G device.
