MICROSOFT WINDOWS PHONE CSHELL DEVICES

Will AT&T be offering the New Cshell Windows 10 mobile phones? I noticed that the 950 or 640 Windows Phones are no longer available. I hope so , otherwise, no incentive to stay with AT&T. Unlock my Microsoft phones and go looking for Services elsewhere and upgrade to HP Elite x3 Bundle - Unlocked...A True Microsoft Windows Phone supporter! Will not use any other platform!!!!

@W10composableCM This is a user to user forum and not a place to expect to see any future plan announcements from AT&T. Nor can we expect to have anyone from AT&T in the know enough on such plans to be here to answer this question.

You're asking about phones that may or may not see the light of day concerning release. Next year you might see Windows Mobile devices offered by AT&T or you may never again see them offered. No one knows. They are a business and they'll make decisions - right or wrong - on what they feel is best for their business.

My guess one or the other will happen early before you see anything major. AT&T may offer through business relationships these new devices. I expect the first wave of these new devices - if they are released - be targeted towards business users. Either that or Microsoft releases their own SIMs

If you want onto that wave, then the HP Elite is a good early path as you'll possibly get insider builds of that branch of Windows 10 in the near future.

The HP Elite is a great phone and some are using it on ATT already.  Unfortunately, none of the carriers are carrying high level Windows phones.  The Elite is specifically not being sold as a consumer device through carriers.  You can purchase from Microsoft and use on ATT.  It's a GSM phone, so it won't work on CDMA carriers.

This is the way many manufacturers may choose to do business in the future.
