Not enough information. What phone? IPhone, Android, or pixel?
Samsung and most other Androids have a 8 to 16 digit unlock code.
When you insert a not AT&T SIM card, a box pops up requesting that you type in the 8 to 16 digit unlock code.
Yes? No?
iPhone and Pixel phones do not use an unlock code.
