Unlock flip phone
I'm attempting an unlock on a little flip phone-
an AT&T (Foxconn) "EA211101" with KaiOS.
if I put a non-AT&T SIM card in it and turn it on, it asks for an unlock code...
so I submitted the request online (as I have done many times with smartphones), but the emailed response said "Your AT&T PREPAID phone comes with a device unlock app on it. Please use this app to make your request."
uh... no it doesn't. (I even put it on Wi-Fi and attempted to search the KaiOS store... nothin'.)
how do I get the system to generate an unlock code, like all of the other unlocks I've performed before?

If the phone isn't registered on the network, you'll have to contact AT&T, and you may have to prove ownership of the phone. AT&T tends to be uncooperative when it comes to unlocking phones for someone who has never been a customer and if they can't prove the phone has fulfilled all eligibility of requirements
If you are a current customer call them. If you're not file a better business bureau complaint online and they will call you
