Hi @Jejejeff

The Samsung Galaxy S7 is such a great phone!  I can definitely understanding wanting to upgrade, and I will be happy to help give you an estimate of how much your bill will be.

It would depend on what type of NEXT Installment plan you put the Galaxy S7 on.  We have a couple of plans to fit your financial needs. Here is an amazing article which includes a chart to showing the differences between the two plans.  For the 30 month plan, I do see the payments will be $23.17, which would be added to your monthly service charge.

I did not see a 4 GB plan specifically; however we do have our Mobile Share Advantage plan with an included 6GB of data.  To get a better estimate, I would need to look into your account.  Please send us a private message to @ATTMobilityCare.  Within the message, please include the following: full name, account number, best time and method to contact you.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon! Have a wonderful rest of the day!

@Jejejeff $60 ($40plan + $20 line) for 3GB. I estimate $5 a month for taxes/fees but it varies per location.

Plus $23.17 a month for an s7 (30 month Next plan). You'll pay the tax up front for this phone up front.

There will be an activation fee too. $45, I think?

The first month bill is always larger as you pay the prorated month plus the next month, so it seems huge.

Check to see if you're eligible for a discount from work, if not join AARP for 10% off the $60 each month ($16 a year is worth it).

Hello @Jejejeff!

Thank you so much for your response. I can certainly continue assisting you in regards of your question!

If you plan to upgrade your phone through the AT&T Next Plan; first, you would have to select one of the available plans to determine the monthly payment cost for the Samsung Galaxy S7. From there, you would add this cost to your Mobile Share plan.

For example, if you sign up for the 30-month plan with 3GB Mobile Share plan. The charges are as follow: $23.17 monthly installment + $30.00 for the 3GB data plan + device access charge, which is $20 for smartphones. This comes out to a total monthly charge of $73.17 plus taxes. Also, thank you @garylapointe for providing great additional information!

I hope this helps to clarify your concern! Please let me know if you have additional questions!

Have a nice day!

@ATTCares The 3GB plan is $40 not $30.

@Jejejeff Here's the charges for other plans:

 Don't forget the $20 per line and the tax...

Hey @Jejejeff

I’d like to give a big shout to @garylapointe for correcting my misinformation. You are completely right. The 3GB plan of data is $40.00. Garylapointe’s 4th post going into great detail and will be what you are looking at for this plan. Yes there will be a $45.00 activation charge and you will need to pay the tax on the phone upfront as well.

Once again I apologize for my misinformation, please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns!

I hope this helps and have a great day!
