Deceptive Door to Door Sales in Boise Idaho

@ATTHelp I am in Boise Idaho and recently switched due to a local promo through a door-door rep, Grace something. The promo was to trade in our old phones for a new iPhone 15  and reduce our expenses vs our Verizon bill.

the phones were returned and we were just notified that the exchange amount does not match what we were told. Three families in our neighborhood are in the same situation with documentation from this rep of reduced phone bills after trade in.

the rep no longer answers her phone and we have been unable to get anyone on the phone to assist.

can someone please help resolve this.

When?  Trade-in takes approximately 3 months from the time of purchase.

What phones did you trade in for an iPhone 15?   Deals for new Samsung phones will take almost any old phone. Deals for iPhones are a lot pickier.  In order to get a free iPhone 15 you have to trade in a newer phone.  iPhone 12 for example.

I had an iPhone 12 max pro and an iPhone 13. Didn’t care about the new phone, wanted a discounted bill based on what was being proposed

@Thompsonscott6  I didn't think AT&T did cold door-to-door sales. Who you probably dealt with was an independent reselling AT&T goods and services. They are not AT&T employees (not paid by AT&T) but contracted by a separate company. It's not uncommon for them to mislead or not completely disclose to the customer the details of a promo just to make a sale. Once the sale is made, that info is sent to AT&T who has no idea of what was said and/or promised to the customer. The fact that the "rep" doesn't return your phone calls is a red flag.

Did you check the AT&T website for the promo? AT&T will only  honor what is listed, in detail, on their website regardless of what you were told. What does your receipt say or the TOS?
