Downgrade a device
I traded in an iPhone 12 Pro Max for an iPhone 15 pro max in October 2023. It is now June 2024 and after several failed attempts to get the credit applied and phone calls with multiple departments, ATT has acknowledged that my device was sent to the wrong warehouse and still has not applied my credits for the trade in and continuously tells me “3 billing cycles” - it’s been 9 months now. Is it possible to downgrade my device to something that does not cost me the full installment value monthly even though ATT has my trade in and still has not/seemingly will not issue my credit for the trade in?

You should file a BBB complaint to get the issue escalated to upper management for resolution. They will contact you in a couple of days. As far as downgrading your iPhone 15, that’s not possible with AT&T. After the 14 day return period, it’s yours. They aren’t going to take it back and you’re responsible for paying it off.
