No link sent

I am trying to order an iPhone but it keeps claiming it is sending me a link for verification but within a minute it cancels my order instead. I am not able to go to the store and upload my ID because they cannot upload it so how can I make my order?

Hey @vannahjayyy,

We understand that you’re facing difficulties while trying to order an iPhone from AT&T. Whenever you place an order, a text or email will be sent out to you with a verification link. This link will let you use your device's camera to take a photo of your ID to complete this process.  The link will expire after 24 hours, and the order will automatically be canceled if ID isn't submitted.

The most common reasons your order may have been cancelled are incorrect or mismatched information. Examples would be; your address, billing information, or payment method and name. Verifying and correcting this will get you back on track.

Let’s troubleshoot this issue step by step

1. Verification Link Issue:

* It seems that you’re not receiving the verification link, or it gets canceled quickly. Here are some steps to address this:

* Check Spam Folder: First, check your email’s spam or junk folder to ensure the verification link isn’t ending up there.

* Whitelist Email Address: Add the sender’s email address (usually from AT&T) to your email whitelist to prevent it from being marked as spam.

* Retry Verification: If you haven’t already, try placing the order again and wait for the verification link. Make sure you’re using a valid email address during the checkout process

2. ID Upload Issue:

* You mentioned that you can’t go to the store to upload your ID. If AT&T doesn’t allow online ID uploads, consider the following options:

* Visit an AT&T Store: If possible, visit a nearby AT&T store in person. They may be able to assist you with the ID verification process.

Third-Party Retailers: Check if any authorized AT&T retailers near you can help with the ID upload.

If you encounter any further issues or have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us. We're here to help!
