RECEIVED HORRIBLE SERVICE FROM ATT NUMBER PORTING DEPARTMENT AND ONLINE SALES

I am beyond livid due to the service i received today!!!  I pre-ordered a midnight green Iphone Pro Max 256gb on friday.  I payed my down payment with my debit card and was looking forward to having service with ATT.  I was porting my number over from verizon.  I received a call today saying my pin was incorrect on my verizon account.  I told the port department to just give me a new number BUT DO NOT CANCEL MY ORDER.  She said that was not possible and that we had to go along with the port process.  So I verified the correct pin and gave them the correct PIN.  The associate i spoke to in the port department's name was Lizzette or Lissette.  She called verizon while i was on the line to have them "manually release the number."  However, the hold time was long.  So she told me we could fix this and that she would call me back.  I asked her to promise me that she would call me back BEFORE ending the call because i felt like she was just trying to get off of the phone.  So, an hour went by and I HAD NOT RECEIVED A CALL FROM ANYONE.  So i called online sales to check the status of everything and they informed me that MY ENTIRE ORDER WAS CANCELLED!!!! THEY ALSO TOLD ME I HAD TO PROCESS A NEW ORDER!!!!  SO NOW I WILL NOT BE GETTING MY IPHONE ON THE ORIGINAL SHIP DATE AS STATED.  HERE'S THE BIGGER ISSUE. 

 

When i went online to just process another order, NOW I HAVE TO PAY $300 DOLLARS MORE for my down payment due to the hit my credit took from running the application the first time.  I called online sales and the port department to have my order re-opened and i was bounced around to different departments once they realized they didn't want to deal with me.  I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY A BIGGER DOWN PAYMENT FOR SOMETHING THAT WAS NOT MY FAULT.  I will go on EVERY SOCIAL MEDIA SITE possible and the Better Business Bureau and share my story about the terrible service i have received from ATT.  I SHOULDN'T  HAVE TO RESUBMIT A NEW ORDER. i SHOULD NOT HAVE TO MAKE A BIGGER DOWN PAYMENT.  I SHOULD STILL RECEIVE MY PHONE ON SEPTEMBER 20TH.  Might wanna consider this before switching to ATT. EVERY ASSOCIATE I HAVE TALKED TO SINCE THE CANCELLATION HAS PRETTY MUCH TOLD ME TOO BAD!!!

The down payment is calculated by your credit history at the time of the order. No one at AT&T can change the down payment.

Only the customer can provide the correct account number and PIN code to port a number. If your information wasn’t correct the first time, canceling the order was the correct thing to do.
