Trade in credit
I recently received my credit for trading in my Samsung Galaxy S20 5G which was in perfect condition. I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and expected to get $1000 trade in value, but I'm only getting $800 which is $22.23 a month. I went to ATT to turn in my phone and even they said I would get the $1000 credit. Please help!

It was a S23 Ultra for sure.
I purchased my phone through the Samsung website the beginning of the year. I went to ATT and turned in my perfect condition trade in on the 24th of January

Again when did you purchase your S23 ultra?
The date of purchase determines what the promotion is and what the credits are.
If you made a purchase of an S23 ultra right before the s24 series was released, the deals were not as good. All service providers and Samsung were promoting pre-order deals for the s24 series in January.
There was likely some sort of offer in December right before the holidays.
Did you do your trade in at a physical store? If you did you would have received a paper receipt which shows you how much your credit total would be over 36 months.
