Waiting & Waiting for Trade In Shipping Label
Ordered new phone in Jan 2024 while trading in my old. With the new phone came instructions to mail but no shipping label. I called and requested new label. I waited and waited with no luck. Called again, waited 2 weeks with no luck. Requested 2 more kits through the text link. Guess what? No luck. Called again. It’s been almost 2 weeks since last call and no kit. Been 2 months since I got the new phone and too late to take to store (which I didn’t know was an option until too late). Can anyone please help me return this old trade in phone. I’m so tired of calling and waiting. It’s ridiculous!

Calling them again is likely worthless since it’s long past 30 days. Even if they sent you one today, they wouldn’t properly credit your trade.
Recommend that you file a BBB complaint to get it escalated to upper AT&T management. If you kept trying multiple times to request a shipping label from AT&T, and they never sent you one, that’s 100% on them. Sad that AT&T can’t do this simple function.

UPDATE: This has been resolved. I did contact the BBB and someone from AT&T executive office reached out to me. He emailed me a shipping label & I mailed off the old phone. He also called to tell me my account will be credited the $350 promotional credit that I was supposed to get for my old phone. I’m so relieved and grateful this is over. I can’t believe how hard it was just to get a return shipping label! Thank you for your help and advice. I appreciate it greatly.

One of the requirements is that the phone must be returned within 30 days or you will not receive credit.

Yes, but I never received multiple requests for return labels. All my activity has been logged so they know it’s not my fault.

The trade in does not go to AT&T. It goes to a third party. The third party does not have access to the “notes”in your AT&T account.
