att wants dod card, widows can't get if they don't have/or spouse when they pass away, is that a problem?

article updated dec 7 2022, is a bit different from info give.  I'm betting (and asking) when the other was updated. TU

You have to have some method of proving that you are the Widow of a military or veteran.  

  • Department of Defense sponsorship card (spouses, widows, and widowers)

So what is the question?  If you're saying you don't have any proof, AT&T can't give you the discount. You would have to contact the ole' US government for that info as a widow of a veteran or active...
