Complaint

The whole warranty replacement game at AT&T is a joke. You get a new phone, send your old phone back, it magically get's lost in the mail and now you the customer are responsible for paying for the phone even though you did everything you were supposed to do and mailed it in, got tracking information and are told well sir if it was me I would pay the $1000 to keep my service and we will file some kind of ticket to see if we can find the phone. I even went to the post office and can prove it was put in the container that ships all of the warranty stuff back, but no since some didn't scan it at the warehouse I am responsible for a phone I returned (a broken phone at that, who keeps a phone that is broken?) I have been a customer for over 15 years. I have had troubles with AT&T in the past when they have deals and don't want to honor them correctly (ie. military discount on unlimited plans, took me 3 months to get that one straight as well). I am not sure where to go from here, I am about 4 hours into phone calls and conversations on line and still somehow owe AT&T $1000 for a phone that has been mailed back to them and I can prove it.

That seems to be a very commn complaint. Good thing you have the tracking information.. Escalate by filing an FCC or BBB complaint. The complaint will result in someone from corporate contacting you. If they can’t or won’t fix, no one will.

I have now filed both a BBB and FCC complaint. I tried to give them the information I received from the post office as they requested and they refused to tell me where to send the information. What a joke. Great customer service to one of your target audiences a veterans, I guess they don't realize that I will never give up as I have been trained to fight for what is right. Corporate greed.

You can’t trust ATT, I’ve learned an expensive lesson with the trade-in program.
