False promises to qualified Military Veterans
Good Afternoon,
I have submitted documentation both in person and online for the military discount. My husband is 25 year retired U.S. Army and currently continues his career in law enforcement in Polk County (Sheriff Grady Judd). I presented information Friday at 8:02 p.m in person at the Brandon AT&T store manager and received an online response while driving home at 8:04 p.m. stating not able to verify.
Account (over 15 years) -
Clearly AT&T is not about fufiling the commitment advertised of military discounts to those that qualify. I presented both DD214 and physical military I.D. Card yet the manager at the Brandon store noted he copied and submitted. Not sure how the representatives "I presume" online were able to reject hoping military customers would simply not pursue. This is the 4th time I've following the noted steps.
I'm communicating to military affairs at MacDill AFB to advise active duty regarding the false advertisement, in addition to USAA and retired military officer affiliates.
I've attached examples that I'm sharing.

The account will have to be transferred to his name. Spouses of law enforcement or retired military do not qualify for the discount.

THIS IS A PUBLIC FORUM. PLEASE REMOVE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION USING THE 3 VERTICAL DOTS.
As far as qualifying for the Military Discount, the name you use to qualify for the program should be the name on your account.
