I purchased a new phone at a Military Base
I purchased a new phone at a military base (Tinker AFB) and they had a promo going on that you would get you up to $800.00 for a trade in. I went with the deal however the box to return the phone never was received and I had to ask for another. This meant that the phone was returned outside of the required period for the Promo but within 1 day of ATT providing the materials. The Vendor told me this would be no problem as the reason for late return was tagged. Once I finally got my trade in value for my 8+ it was $40.00. A far cry from what I was told and a unacceptable amount for a phone that had nothing wrong with it. I could have sold to a local vendor for more. How do I contact someone to see why I was not awarded either the amount I was told by the Service Center at Tinker AFB or at least why I received no more than $40.00. ATT has made this an impossible quest!!!!

Did you actually receive $40 or was that the value placed on the trade in? In order to get the $800, the trade in must be valued at $95 or higher. A trade in valued at $35 or higher should get you $350 in trade in credits. I’m pretty sure you were never going to get $800 for an iPhone 8. There is a published list of phones eligible for the $800 and the iPhone 8 isn’t on that list.

Regardless, if the trade in was only valued st $40, you won’t get $800 unless it was under the “any Samsung, any condition” promotion. If not that promotion, at best you’ll get $350. So once again, did you actually get $40 or was that the trade in value? The $800 or $350 in credits will show up on your monthly bill spread out over the length of the installment plan for the new phone. It takes up to 3 bill cycles for trade in credits to show.
